A single timer flattens the truth.

Work

One label. Where did it go? The record can't say.

Notes

Thoughts stay pinned to the moment.

Auth redirect bug was a stale cookie, not the proxy. Wrote it down before I lost it — keep an eye on the session refresh path.

Questions

What does the beta cost?

Nothing. HourTrace is free while it's early. A Personal plan ($8/month) is planned once v1 ships.

Is my data mine?

Yes. Export everything as JSON or CSV anytime, and delete any or all of it from Settings.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes — the mobile web app has a capture-first Today view. Install-as-app and push reminders are on the roadmap.

Do I have to track everything live?

No. Click or drag on the timeline to backfill what already happened. Repair beats discipline.

How is this different from a normal timer?

A normal timer forces one answer at a time. HourTrace lets where you are, who it's for, and what you're doing all be true at once — and reports keep those layers instead of flattening them.

Start with what's true right now.
